The coin is in proof condition.This coin contains 10.93 grams of .900 fine gold with full proof finish. AGW .3163 oz.
The 1977 One Hundred dollar gold coin of Liberia commerates the 130th Anniversary of the Republic. The face of the coin portrays the
face of their first president, Joseph Jenkins Roberts.

The obverse is the Liberian national crest with the motto "The Love of Liberity Brought Us Here".

The Republic is the only African nation to be founded with the aid of the US Government and settled by Africans of American Birth.
The coin comes in the original blue package and the original seal was never opened. Limited proof struck on July 26,1977.
